About Elise Mascia
Elise Mascia is a multifaceted artist, entrepreneur, creative director, stylist, educator, and event producer based between New York City and Philadelphia.
With over a decade of experience spanning the fashion, food, and hospitality industries, Elise is known for her intuitive ability to help brands and creatives refine their vision, tell compelling stories, and cultivate vibrant, connected communities.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity for design and innovation, Elise co-founded TROY in 2019 with partner Troy Hul-Arnold. What began as a passion project in their Harlem studio bedroom—an experiment in giving new life to scrap and found textiles—quickly evolved into a sustainable fashion brand with a clear mission: to challenge the industry’s norms by redefining quality and minimizing waste.
Inspired by the legacy of fashion houses as tastemakers and fine art producers, TROY continues to thrive under Elise’s visionary leadership and her innate ability for identifying emerging cultural movements before they hit the mainstream.
Elise's diverse background in hospitality and community development deeply informs her approach to business, emphasizing care, connection, and impact. She believes in creating more than just beautiful products or events—she builds meaningful systems and experiences that resonate far beyond the moment.
In 2023, Elise launched her second venture, CHEZ ELISE, further expanding her work in art direction, event production, experiential design, and community-building. Through this new platform, she continues to craft unforgettable cultural moments and brand experiences that are bold, intentional, and deeply human.
A seasoned creative and trusted consultant, Elise brings a rare combination of artistic insight, business acumen, and heartfelt leadership to every project she touches.
